Areas of Work
Our strategic areas of intervention
Through its strategic areas, DYA has launched initiatives that empower populations and improve family life. We have specialized in addressing issues associated with human mobility, child labor, and health.
Educational inclusion and occupational technical training
DYA has 20 years of experience in building strategies for educational inclusion, improvement of education quality, and training for the productive sector. We design programs that address inequality gaps, access, and permanence in the educational system, while promoting strategies to eradicate child labor, in coordination with state services.

Community-based health systems
With more than 30 years of experience, we implement community health programs that integrate primary care, sexual and reproductive health, as well as prevention and care schemes for HIV, COVID, and Tuberculosis. Additionally, we generate community care, surveillance, and monitoring systems in collaboration with state services.

Protection and promotion of rights
Together with the State, communities, and the private sector, we develop protocols and services to prevent child violence and gender-based violence. Likewise, we promote strategies to restore the rights of children and adolescents whose rights have been violated by poverty, child labor, human mobility, or lack of adequate services.

Economic empowerment and sustainable production
In rural areas, DYA develops agricultural technologies to improve production quality and market opportunities for farming families, with mechanisms for social compliance and monitoring of child labor in value chains. In marginalized urban areas, we promote training and job placement initiatives for adolescents and young people, as well as technical assistance for entrepreneurships.
