DYA and PUCE agreement

Quito, October 6, 2025.

The Center for Development and Self-Management (DYA) and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE) signed a Specific Cooperation Agreement, with the objective of promoting joint research and action projects aimed at analyzing social, economic, and human development issues.

The agreement was signed by Juan Samaniego Froment, Executive Director of DYA, and Fernando Clemente Ponce León, S.J., Rector of PUCE, in an act that reaffirms the commitment of both institutions to generate useful and applied knowledge.

Through this alliance, DYA and PUCE will promote research, training, and technical support initiatives that strengthen the response to social challenges from an integrated and evidence-based approach.

The validity of the agreement will be five years, counted from the date of its signature, and may be automatically renewed for the same period.

This cooperation reflects a shared vision: to link academia and social action to contribute to sustainable development and the well-being of people.
