World Health Day
At DYA, we work every day so that the right to dignified health is a reality, especially in the most vulnerable communities. In Monte Sinaí – Ecuador, we promote a model of Comprehensive Community Health with a rights approach.
Our action axes:
- Comprehensive child health: We prevent malnutrition and anemia with timely care for children at risk.
- Maternal-child care: We accompany mothers and families with a comprehensive approach from pregnancy.
- HIV and tuberculosis prevention: We act from the community, strengthening treatment adherence.
- Mental health for adolescents: We promote their comprehensive development in an environment of trust.
- Peaceful coexistence in schools: With restorative methodologies, we foster communities of peace.
- Access to safe water: Health begins with the basics; we fight for access to clean water as a fundamental right.
We believe in active community participation as a driver of change. Health is also the presence of social justice.
