Objective
Provide a space of care, containment and early stimulation for girls and boys aged 0 to 4 in rural communities of Tucumán, allowing their families (mainly rural workers) to work knowing their children are in a safe, quality environment.
Problem Statement
In rural Tucumán, families working in agricultural and seasonal activities lack nearby quality child-care spaces. This absence exposes the youngest children to risk and often pushes families to take them to workplaces. Lack of adequate early stimulation in the first years also compromises integral early childhood development in these communities.
Components and Activities
- Daily care and early stimulation for girls and boys aged 0 to 4.
- Delivery of nutritional kits as part of integral family accompaniment.
- Nutrition and breastfeeding workshops for mothers.
- Celebrations and community open days for families (Children's Day, cycle closings).
- Coordination with local, provincial and national governments to sustain infrastructure and operation of the centers.
Target Group
Girls and boys aged 0 to 4 from rural communities of Tucumán, with special attention to children of rural working families without access to other child-care spaces.
