Socio-Educational Services - Contener Program
Argentina
Objective
Sustain an integral space of care, emotional containment and school support for children and adolescents in Barrio Santa Bárbara, Apóstoles, that guarantees their permanence in the education system and offers a safe environment for learning, expression and community bonding throughout the year, including school recess periods.
Problem Statement
Barrio Santa Bárbara, in Apóstoles, is a rural area of Misiones where children face social vulnerability that limits access to care, recreation and educational accompaniment. Many children and adolescents lack other recreation opportunities or available adult references during the school day and free time. Without accompaniment, the school population faces greater risk of disconnection from the education system.

- Nutritious breakfast and snack as part of the daily routine.
- Art workshops, collective murals and productions that lead to small theatre pieces.

- Trade workshops, such as introduction to baking.
- Continuity of the space during summer and school recesses, with vacation workshops.
- Individual and group emotional containment, with listening and trust between teachers and students.
- Guidance and accompaniment for families.

Children and adolescents from Barrio Santa Bárbara, Apóstoles, Misiones, in social vulnerability and mainly sons and daughters of rural workers, especially those without other care or recreation spaces outside school hours.
